Not that easy to find a truly inspiring or great leaders to learn from. There are, but not a lot. There's a surprising number of highly paid, mediocre people at high levels. Doing the right thing for the business and/or for the people is generally less of a priority for the majority of senior managers, rather their objective is often how to earn points with the power that be, leading to some quite interestingly irrational collective behaviors (but serve the individuals). The general priority is not to get things done, but not to offend anyone, so there's an excessive amount energy being devoted to internal stakeholder management.
