      good salary and benefits, very structured work environment, possibility to move across subsidiaries within the company. in comparison to regular small & medium businesses with limited career prospects, it's a bliss to be employed by BAT. however, in comparison to other big international/multinational companies, it's nothing special.

      hierarchy, silo mentality, slow decision making, blame culture. conformity with decision of the management is more important than actual results. feedback isn't welcomed if that's something that management doesn't want to hear. a lot of initiatives are silenced at the mid level management.

      - Complete autonomy with schedule which provides for a nice balance between work and personal life - Impact people who are trying to grow their careers - Company car and free* gas is pretty nice

      Toxic, politically charged environment, cliques of people each trying to place their own people in roles. A singular mis-trust and dislike of "outside" people who are brought in to move the company forward but the existing people who have worked there for years and years are all trying to protect and sustain their own roles and their own cliques. All show and pretty presentations but no meaningful, meaty strategy
