Working with BAYY as a freelancer was one of the most chaotic and concerning professional experiences I’ve ever had. The agency didn’t just over-promise and under-deliver — it operated in a constant state of disorganisation that made even basic tasks unnecessarily stressful.
When I arrived, almost the entire staff had already left, and the company was being held together by freelancers who were overwhelmed and unsupported. The atmosphere was so intense that I witnessed multiple team members break down in tears, completely exhausted by the lack of leadership, unclear direction, and unrealistic expectations.
From inside, the situation felt deeply unstable. Budgets never seemed to match what was actually delivered, and there was a constant sense that financial planning was all over the place. Based on what I saw and heard, I developed serious concerns about the company’s long-term viability. There were conversations circulating about another entity, possibly “BAYY World,” which made it feel like leadership might be preparing to shift operations or rebrand entirely.
The departure of the former partner — who many believed was the steadying force of the organisation — was felt heavily. Since she was pushed out, everything seemed to unravel: workflow, culture, morale, and basic professionalism.
Leadership was consistently absent when needed. Key meetings were missed, communication was erratic, and responsibility was pushed onto freelancers who were already stretched thin. It often felt like no one was steering the ship while it was sinking.
Overall, my experience left me with the impression of a company in severe decline — unstable, poorly managed, and emotionally draining for anyone involved. I would strongly caution freelancers and clients to think very carefully before engaging with BAYY in its current state
