Vantaggi
None - Other than sometimes they let you work from home, but not if your boss is a micromanager and keeps you hostage at your desk, even "looking for you" if you are in the bathroom. Now they let you wear jeans to work which is nice.
Svantaggi
Too many to name. Put compensation at the top, employees are so underpaid according to market, and the "bonus" they give, is an absolute joke. I actually wanted to tell them to keep it. PTO is awful, they changed the accrual rules earlier this year and the only people that benefit are senior management. Technology is outdated and uses poor applications, no IT people onsite- have to wait forever to get someone on the phone and fix the problem yourself. No company social events except for the holiday party which is during the day and then they make you go back to work. Very silo'd organization. Management is poor at communications and basically everything is a "secret." People leave left and right it's like a revolving door. Each office differs in terms of perks that they give - in some there are snacks in the kitchen all day long. In New York, there is nothing other than free soda and juice (very healthy), not even a paper plate if you want to microwave your food. Make you use your own cell phone for company purposes and don't reimburse you. Very cheap with their T&E. Everything is a process and has to get approval, nothing ever works efficiently. Way too much status quo on your title, if you're not a "manager" (which must don't not even managing people), you don't get included in many of the company annual meetings or training sessions. People who joined within the past 6 months, now come to me saying they regret accepting their offer, me too.
