- The most passionate/skilled people who believe that their team and technology is the best among all sports analytic companies regardless of human resource volume and technical completeness. - They really work hard/overtime even at night and weekend for no pay. The members of team respond anytime via Slack even if there are on vacation/weekend/holiday. - They try to make all functions in a short term what the huge competitor companies(Chyronhego, Perform, Second Spectrum, Sportlogiq, etc.) provide, even if human resource volume is so small. - It is very challenging and motivating to develop first without designing/validating and modify it when problem occurs by monitoring 24hours and every day. - Weekly team football after work.

- Having company members working at night/vacation/holiday implies that you have to/are forced to work in the same way for no pay, otherwise you can be told you are not passionate person even if you work hard everyday during work time described on the contract (8 hours). CEO sometimes literally says “How could you stop working weekend while the other passionate guys work hard weekend this busy times?” and treat you unpassionate worker. - There is no well organized design-prototype-implementation-testing and performance evaluation cycle. CEO wants to provide all functions to beat competitors without knowing technical completeness deeply, thus you have to put your prototype implementation which is error-prone/heuristic on the service because you get short-term deadline and you need to implement another function as well before stabilizing current one. That is the main reason of that every guy has to/is forced to work weekend/holiday/vacation to monitor and debug error of prototype-implementation as soon as error happens or modify parameters heuristically depends on situation during football season. - It is hard to persuade CEO in technical way as he did not study engineering. Moreover there is no CTO/project manager or PhD who can manage research/develop strategy in a macro perspective unlike competitor companies(Chyronhego, Perform, Second Spectrum, Sportlogiq, etc.) but CEO decides all, therefore research/develop strategy is not consistent. CEO does not prefer to take an effort on designing/validating, instead does to implement many functions ASAP without designing even if those are error-prone/heuristic, and tell/bluff football teams/leagues “we have all solution for you” and provide it by making employees monitor/debug the incomplete ones and modify parameters heuristically all days. - The number of business team is bigger than the number of research team(there are currently just a few). The business team sells product or make a contract with football teams/leagues by telling them their prototype-level product is perfect which needs to be monitored while it runs. - Most of development team is Korean, thus if you are non-Korean, you have to get used to Korean culture sometimes. - It is known that this company provides their service with many football clubs, however most of them are on free-trial and the company does not make any profit in overall yet like any other start-up. [Conclusion] You WANT TO work in this company if - You want to work family-like company so that you can do many things with co-workers by sharing private life and staying in company longer. - You want to implement functions as many as possible regardless of its technical completeness and you can be amazed by spending your extra time for monitoring these functions on the service and modifying it. - You believe that technical completeness is not important to satisfy customers and make good/perfect service. - You believe that a small volume of engineers can realize state-of-the-art technique to beat bug competitors(Chyronhego, Perform, Second Spectrum, Sportlogiq, etc.) without common developing process(design-prototype-implementation-testing and performance evaluation) cycle if you work passionately overtime/overnight. You DON’T WANT TO work in this company if - You want to work in well organized company. - You want to be totally disconnected from work after working hours. - You want to have senior engineers as mentors who can guide your career. - You prioritize work and life balance and your private life away from company. - You want to make perfect engineering solution by doing design-prototype-implementation-testing and performance evaluation cycle. - You want to work/be managed by contract.
