Absolutely no pay progression, people get “promoted” without their contracts or pay changing, no one seems to be qualified to carry out the jobs they are doing. Employees are strongly discouraged from discussing pay, people’s pay seem to often be based on favouritism rather than the level of responsibility. Strong bullying culture, management tends to play favourites, and choose people to pick on. Having a good work-life balance seems to be actively discouraged. Incompetent HR, serious complaints have been completely ignored or mismanaged. There’s no gratitude for anything ever. The majority of the staff seems to be miserable coming into work every day.
