Vantaggi

- Safety consciousness and great HSE initiatives - Very good compensation, benefits, and perks. - Great opportunities to do technical work and to get a fair amount of training - Work- life balance and all the flexibility you can think of. - Top-notch coworkers and lots of opportunities to learn from them.

Svantaggi

- Company culture went downhill after the Shale exit: blatant favoritism, cronyism, unmerited promotions, dozens of BS jobs, too much unnecessary work, lots of disengaged managers, high attrition, etc. (This culture is supposed to enable the workforce to take BHP Petroleum to greater heights). - They are extremely preachy with inclusion and diversity (not the right way to do it) while they exhibit a fair amount of conscious biases in the way they hire and promote. - No growth opportunities; too many chiefs and people trying to maintain the status quo. - They offshore too many jobs (and they are open about it); some departments (globally structured) have so many obstacles to get work done. - Only one relevant asset is operated from Houston (declining). This is essentially a non-operated business.

Vantaggi

Some good co-workers and good challenges

Svantaggi

Leadership in the Tucson office is highly political and unprofessional. Feedback is not given directly. Local leadership is more interested in Linkedin posting and image, rather than anything of substance.
