Vantaggi
This is a close community of hard-working people who put their all into the projects they do. Their official Guiding Principle of 'There's no I in BSTRO' gives you a good idea of the way they get things done (though their UN-official motto of 'we don't work with a**holes' is also a pretty good indicator as well). BSTRO is as selective with its clients as they are with finding a good local coffee spot - they tend to work with people who are putting some good out into the world, and who they can work with in finding a way to showcase that vision to everyone else. I spent happy years there in the company of good people who are talented, caring, and enjoy a good chat about their weekend as much as they do building websites and social media campaigns. In terms of pros, they have a diverse and interesting line-up of clients from local charities to brands you have in your kitchen cupboard - so you’ll certainly never be bored and work somewhere no two days are the same. As with most small agencies, there’s room for growth and development as long as you raise your hand up and say ‘I’d like to start doing this, please’. Each person brings something a little different to the mix and their offices are a patchwork of talents, ideas, languages, and stories. You'll have a really decent health plan, be able to work from home, and probably even travel around as they have offices and clients all over north America. (Oh, and they have the most adorable Yorkshire Terrier who hangs around the office as well).
Svantaggi
In a small agency, everyone is expected to step up and be a big part of the team's successes - BSTRO likes to stay ahead of the curve with what's new so not a place to put your feet up, but if you like being a part of the action then this is the place for you.
