They do not care about the seasonal employees. This was born out when they ended our seasonal job with zero notice. We did have work on the schedule for the following week but that didn't matter we were terminated immediately. When I mentioned this to the person (didn't even know who they were and had never spoken to them before) who called me to give me the news they said, "well we looked at it from a business perspective and we tried to be able to give notice..." So they straight up told me they cared about the business aka $$$ more than the humans working for the business allowing them to make that money, and the fact that they "tried" didn't mean anything. They even bragged about making record sales during the holiday season and couldn't spare the extra they would pay their employees if giving them 2 or even 1 week of notice. Not to mention the schedule was usually not available until a week or less before each work week. Feels like the soul and culture of the company has been ripped out by the corporate suits that purchased the company in 2025, all to save some extra bucks. I lost all respect for the company.
