Lack of direction from upper management. Changing the core values now that the board has ousted the former CEO. Comparatively low pay for the sector. They've built their business by hiring employees with little to no experience in this arena. The pay reflects this as well. They reward hard work with job titles and little to no additional compensation. Employees rotate out at about 12 months because they realize they can be making 20-60% more at a similar company. Office gossip here is like playing a game of phone in second grade. By the time the story gets back to you it's been so blown out of proportion it can hardly be called the same info. All levels of management are guilty of this as well.
