Base US is currently suboptimal and faces significant strategic issues. There is a failure in executive leadership; specifically, the Base US CEO is unsuited to lead the required expansion with operational stability. Evidence of the instability is clear: every Director hired in 2025 has been laid off a few months of tenure. Rapid and high-level turnover signals poor strategic planning and a damaging environment for talent retention and employee morale.

I've really loved my experience at Base.com so far. As an SDR, I’ve had the chance to be part of a growing team with big ambitions—especially with the recent opening of our Brighton office. There’s a real sense of momentum and excitement across the company, which makes it a fun and inspiring place to work. The culture here is one of the biggest highlights. It’s incredibly supportive, collaborative, and positive. Everyone’s genuinely invested in helping each other succeed, which creates a great environment for learning and personal development. There’s always someone willing to share advice, jump on a call, or lend a hand. One of the perks I really enjoy is that we do work trips abroad, which are great for team bonding and learning from colleagues in other locations. There are also loads of opportunities to grow within the company. Leadership is transparent and approachable, and they really encourage internal progression. I’ve felt supported every step of the way, and it’s clear there’s a real focus on developing people long-term. Honestly, I can’t think of any cons. The company culture is great, the team is supportive, and there are plenty of opportunities to grow. It’s been a very positive experience so far!
