Svantaggi
I've worked at 3 different stores in 3 different states. The first store was terrible. The second store was wonderful. The third store is Absolutely awful. But at least with the first store the management did not attack their employees for everything. - Call ins are a pain. Why can't you just schedule people for the hours you need them and leave it at that? - Poor communication - Rude Degrading Managers - Rude demanding tactics used toward customers to force them to buy product they may not want. Demanding a phone number and e-mail address and being reprimanded for it by the managers if I choose to ask instead of demand. - Broken down spirit every day because they're "just trying to break you" as my manager put it. - Rude demeaning associates to new associates - Degrading comments on a regular basis - I got yelled at for yawning with no customers around, when I covered my mouth and said excuse me. - I'm constantly expected to be bouncing around like a jack-rabbit on steroids even if there are only two people in the store because "it's the associate's job to set the customer's pace not to go off of their pace." - Being demeaned constantly by other employees because I can answer questions they can't - other employees seem to think it's a competition even though we are not paid commission - and on that note, we are not paid commission yet we are expected to ram product down a customer's throat on a regular basis and, for me personally at my store, they constantly threaten to but my hours if I am not aggressive enough. And I don't mean assertive. I mean they threaten to cut my hours if I take no for an answer. - My managers have visible tattoos and facial piercings along with unnaturally colored hair. And most of the associates do as well. Last time I checked the manual this wasn't really acceptable. So why is it that at my store I'm completely disrespected as an associate and degraded and demeaned but it's okay to disregard policy? - I had a manager say to me, "you like to follow rules? You need to stop cause we don't do that here." - I also was blamed for a shoplifter and told by my manager, "you're not in kansas anymore sweetheart," a shot at my small town background because apparently crime only exists in Los Angeles.
