Could not be farther from their mission statement. This institution stifles their employees and operates in an autocratic manner. Exploiting their students is also something that I see happen every day to woo donors and the board of trustees. Upper level administration are stuffy white women who tokenize people of color and claim they’re doing good work around diversity and inclusion. If you are a person of color, run. If you are a person who values authenticity, fair wages, qualified management, and an institution with a strong bottom line, seek employment elsewhere. If you do decide to work at this institution, keep your resume polished because you’ll likely be searching for a new job soon. The turnover is unreal in just about every department.
