Vantaggi

I had wanted to make some contribution by involving in community outreach initiatives. I enjoyed working with individuals and their families.

Svantaggi

Supervisors are horrible. Most of them are promoted from within thus lack formal training, management skills and supervisory experiences. This coupled with the fact that majority of the supervisors lack adequate formal education, makes it for a very 'sucky' place to work. Supervisors and management team have so much ego, the very reason there are enormous turnover rates in this company. Another reason other than the 'sucky' environement is the low pay. A high-demanding caseload for Case Managers is matched with probably the lowest pay in the region.

Vantaggi

37.5 hour work week 401k 403b Pension after 2 years Good hearted people actually work here Good benefit package, reasonable insurance, ST LT disability rates, 2 weeks vacation starting, plus sick days and every holiday banks and the state is closed so is Baypath You will be working for a company that has good intentions and you can feel good about telling others "I work for BayPath."

Svantaggi

Lack of promotion opportunity (Case managers are exempt from this comment) Very government dependent for funding, so if funding is cut or reduced payroll is quickly adjusted. Too many chief's / Indian ratios, one executive has only 2 people under them. another 5. Poor pyramid structure, some departments are over managed/supervised, others need more people to help management. Don't bother complaining about work load, they will not higher additional non case managers. The few back office, or support people they do hire often have a quick turnover once the full scale of workload to pay/ time allotted is revealed. On that note, you will not work less than 40/week, or not complete your work, either way it's your fault. (case managers are exempt from this comment)
