Vantaggi
-coworkers and colleagues are great for the most part. Most people are willing to help. -free snacks, meals, and office events depending on which office you work at. -4 weeks vacation for all new employees. -can work remotely depending on which office you work at and which department you’re in. -stock awards annually which is better than previous companies that I’ve worked at. -multiple late-stage assets in the pipeline with ability to change/improve lives for patients. -growing company.
Svantaggi
-absolutely no work/life balance. Huge workload and calls at all hours of the day & night. Executives don’t care to address this or fix this. I know multiple people have left because of this. -expected to work during your vacation. Not only do I get emails, texts, and calls during the one vacation that I’ve taken, but I also see others emailing all throughout their “vacations”. -executives (VP and above) are very disconnected from their employees. Either that or they just don’t care. -company values are not accurate at all. -benefits are OK at best. Health insurance is fine, 401k match is low, not all employees are eligible for stock program, not many perks that are standard in the industry. -extremely hierarchical company. Some of us travel 50% but if we’re not VP level then we’re forced to fly economy and that includes 16 hour flights to and China.
