Vantaggi

* Free lunch and snacks?

Svantaggi

* They ran a round of layoffs 3 weeks before announcing new funding round with LG! What a horrible company, stay away from them at all costs. * I worked there for a year and there were 3 (!) rounds of layoffs in different departments. Overall, they prefer to hire in Korea due to much smaller cost of engineer comparing to bay area and engineering is being moved there. Most of the customers and clients are in Asia as well, they don't have much business in the US. * Company is obsessed on saving costs and even a small expense has to go through managerial and cto/ceo approval. * No direction. No collaboration between teams and engineering offices in bay area, korea, singapore. Every team works in a silo and doesn't know what other team is doing. There are no line managers... * Toxic culture. Public shaming. Rude coworkers. * They call themselves a startup, but they move slower than a large corporation. Every decision has to be approved by leadership. * Very poor quality of software. Mostly written by interns as a prototype, not as production level software.

Vantaggi

• Some smart and talented individual contributors who genuinely care about their work. • Interesting product concept in a growing industry. • Remote work structure provides flexibility for some roles.

Svantaggi

• Poor leadership culture: Managers often lack empathy and transparency. Decisions are top-down with little room for feedback or collaboration. • HR is not a safe space: Concerns brought in confidence were later used against employees, which creates a culture of fear and retaliation. • Morale is low: Many employees stay because of financial need, not because they believe in the mission or feel supported. • Retaliation exists: Some supervisors retaliate against employees who raise issues or challenge inconsistencies. • Not mental health–friendly: High stress, lack of psychological safety, and no genuine support from leadership or HR. • Favoritism and inconsistency: Policies and standards are not enforced equally across teams.
