This field is tremendously rewarding, and we understand the need for training and ongoing support. We offer initial training to provide an understanding of ABA concepts and principles. Once completed, team members are paired with a Senior Behavior Technician to complete field training by practicing ABA methods, demonstrating skills, and completing a competency checklist. Supervisors continue to provide ongoing training through overlap sessions. Similarly, office departments like HR and Client Services are available for you. For example, BTs can address concerns regarding hours and cancellations to our Client Service Department, which can help you find fill-ins, update availability, and request additional hours. During intake, families are made aware of attendance expectations and receive notification that success is contingent upon the consistency of services. We ask all BTs to contact their assigned scheduler to discuss concerns regarding client cancellations and allow us to find a solution.
