Toxic management. Unreasonable KPIs (after telling you there isn’t any you’ll be punished for not meeting them, even though you were never informed of them), you’re essentially scamming people into booking a “free” photoshoot that they “won” (literally everyone wins) in the hopes that they spend $$$$ after their shoot to get more than one photo, and lot of clients quickly realise that and will take it out on you. The entire business model is based on the back of this scam and they quite literally do not make money any other way. People contacting the studio to book themselves is very rare. Management will tell you to harass people who are not answering your calls by repeatedly dialling their numbers until they’re either block you or answer. Systems used are glitchy and unreliable. They’ll tell you there’s flexibility but there isn’t any. You work your hours and the extra hours they force you to work without pay. I could go on for days. There’s nothing positive about this place.

First, you were working with our team for less than a year, not more than one year as stated. That was your first edit. You re-edited your review and stated that you were working for 2 years. This is not true, it was a few months. 2. Second, your role was target-based, and because you did not meet your KPIs, you did not work with our returning families, past clients, or other types of clients. 3. Your claim about working extra hours is also untrue. During your time with us, there wasn't a single day when you worked extra hours. 4. Regarding flexibility, this is a work-from-home position, but it doesn't allow for 2-hour coffee breaks for personal hobbies. 5. Our team culture is built on trust, and we do not tolerate aggressive behaviour towards the team, the spread of misinformation, or attacks on our team's integrity. Our team maintains a positive and respectful workplace culture, and your behaviour was inconsistent with that. 6. One correct point in the review is that some systems do not operate efficiently on some old computers. Based on your experience and feedback, a computer latency and computer literacy test has been integrated into the recruitment process. Great company. I moved between positions, so there was some growth for me. Both roles were quite dynamic with good teams.

Honestly I can't think of any significant cons. Maybe I'd appreciate less meetings during the week as we all worked quite autonomously. If my family circumstances change, I'd go back for sure.

I genuinely love the team at Bellizzi. They truly know how to hire great humans. It’s refreshing to work in a company of this big size where every single person feels like a good fit. Everyone is kind, supportive, inspiring, and aligned — there are no egos, no awkward energy, just genuinely lovely people who want to do great work together. I also love the role itself. Every day feels meaningful. I get to hear so many stories and help clients capture moments they will treasure forever. Knowing that these memories will live on for generations gives real purpose to the work, and that’s something I didn't find in my previous jobs.

Honestly, I sometimes feel behind. The team is very experienced, which can be challenging if you’re coming in with less experience. At times, it can feel hard to keep up. That said, what really balances this out is the support — everyone genuinely wants you to succeed and is always willing to help, explain, or guide you through things. The biggest downside for me was the onboarding process. It’s extremely thorough (a little bit too much for my taste), with a lot of scripts, coaching, and training materials. While I understand the intention, it felt a bit overwhelming. Personally, I would have loved to start speaking with clients on day 1 or 2. Instead, it took me a full week to get through all the videos and training before being hands-on. Because of that, I would not rate work life balance as 5, as afrer work I feel a bit stressed as I can't keep up with my team sometimes. While the pace can be challenging here, the support from my leader and teammates, and quality of people, make it absolutely worth it.
