Vantaggi
-There are a lot of different restaurants and cafes around in the area -Some staff members are friendly
Svantaggi
- [Cheap labour] Pay is always below national minimum wage even after the probation period, and management don’t intend on increasing it. At first, it’s £800 for 40 hrs a week, then £1000 after probation. - Free lunch doesn’t justify extremely low pay (a lot of the times it was flavourless or undercooked) - Often you’ll have to do take on roles that are more than your job description, without a pay rise - Unprofessional environment and company culture i.e. inappropriate jokes/comments, management working against each other and telling you two different things - Feedback was limited and not well thought out -As it’s a small company, there’s no real room for growth/progression - The ethics around selling and promoting the products weren’t great - There’s a high turnaround in the company, people come and go all the time - at one point 3 in one month (and there are a one or two friends/family members of the CEO working there)
