Met great people, only good thing about this business

One of the worst things I have ever done in my life, they brainwash you to believe you are escaping the standard 9-5 job, but instead you’re doing 9-9 you have no social life or life in general. They tell you it’s a flexible work style and hours, it’s not you’re working 6 days a week. You have no control over anything at all, they say you’re your own boss, there is no seniority. There is 100%. You are just a number in this company and you are expendable. Young people shouldn’t be starting their careers this way especially on commission only.

The most enjoyable part of the job was anting to do well for the company and pushing myself despite the difficult conditions , even though that loyalty wasn’t reciprocated.

A typical day involved constant pressure to sell, often in a way that felt aggressive and unsustainable. The focus was entirely on numbers, with little regard for the well-being of staff or the customers’ actual needs.
