No organization is perfect and there is one department that is hard to work with. It's because they care about what they produce, but being so difficult to work with makes it hard to provide feedback and collaborate.

The only "Pro" was a paycheck.

There were many downsides to working at Bend Financial but the highest was the toxic team environment. The software team was led by a gaslighting manager that often lied or withheld information from stakeholders and team members. This toxic team environment combined with extremely poor software development practices of systems (especially around quality, maintainability and ethics [There is no AI there... at all]) continually led to poor (or flat out nonfunctioning) software being released to customers. In general it was typical to say something was done and release it instead of actually making it work correctly.
