Great mid-size firm - Recensione dipendente - Project Engineer II presso Benesch

Some of the best people I've ever worked with. Everyone is willing to help each other achieve the overall goal. Management is completely understanding and doesn't give off that "corporate feel." Work can sometimes be repetitive but ultimately, it's stimulating enough.

I think everyone would prefer more PTO/Vacation days. I would like to see a split vacation/sick bank for PTO, but I know it's industry standard to combine the two.

Good Training Opportunities, great coworkers, good work life balance

Engineering given more attention than planning and other groups. Can be top heavy so middle management does not delegate work and junior staff in multiple cases has taken PTO when work was not available. Some departments have higher workloads than others. Delegation of work is routinely mismanaged.
