When I walked out the door in the evening I never gave a 2nd thought to Bernhardt

This was the most boring, uninteresting job I've ever had. Two old white guys make all the decisions. They just need people to follow orders, move a mouse, and not exercise any sort of creativity or suggest anything that isn't in agreement with their ideas. 100% of your time is spent working on other people's vision and you will never get a chance to do anything else. All of management comes from outside or through nepotism/cronyism.
