This practice, where hiring or promotion decisions favor relatives or friends, often regardless of their qualifications, has significant repercussions on the workforce morale and the company's overall efficiency. Operators and employees frequently express feelings of demotivation and disenfranchisement, perceiving that career advancement is more about personal connections than merit and hard work.
