Vantaggi
I'll give them credit for being the first workplace I've worked at where HR doesn't even pretend to be on your side—you have to respect that.
Svantaggi
As of the time of writing this, BRG's Glassdoor rating was a 2.7 out of 5. No other workplace has made me feel so undervalued. Any positive actions they take (which they’ll make sure you know about) are nullified by their poor treatment of employees. They have been given some sort of "great place to work" award but it’s clear that they have just checked off the criteria. Diversity? The leadership team is giving colonialism. They pressure employees to work in the office, only to outsource their team. They struggle with making sound decisions and sticking to a plan. They rely on eye-wateringly expensive consultants because they can't attract talented staff. And the promises they make to get you to join the company fall flat. I don’t feel positive about the future of BRG. You need a great team who loves the product to get it to where it needs to be. Anyone who cared and gave the company a pulse were either made redundant or pushed out of the company. My criticisms are directed at the top leadership, not my direct managers. Everyone else deserves credit for managing to stay sane with some semblance of dignity left.
