The unofficial motto? "We wing it!" Now, let’s talk about their vacation policy, a mysterious ritual they fondly call the "sandwich leave." It’s like a magic trick: poof! Your holiday disappears if you dare sandwich it between days off. Joined without knowing this? Congratulations, you played yourself. Appraisals are more elusive than a Yeti, delayed by an epic nine months. Leave halfway through the year? Say goodbye to your hard-earned rewards. Oh, and Saturdays? They're 'officially' workdays, but you can stay home. The catch? You must cling to your phone like it's the last lifeboat on the Titanic, because availability is key! HR is basically in witness protection; unreachable, unresponsive, but highly sought after. Your colleagues, too, must be taking communication tips from HR because they also don’t respond to emails. Not responding is practically a badge of honor here. After hours? Oh, the fun begins! Colleagues will ping and call as if the business day has just started. Dragging yourself home by 9 PM, you might expect a few hours to unwind, but nope! Your collegues will be glad you reaced home just in time to attend to their emails. There's no training or documentation. You will have nothing to do for weeks or even months on end. Just when you stop worrying about it and are starting to enjoy the illusion of “easy money,” you will be thrown in the deep end. You will find yourself lost in projects without a clue, suddenly summoned to meetings where everyone assumes you have all the answers. Surprise! You’re the expert now, apparently.
