My supervisors and most of the co-workers are great. They're very nice and you can really feel the passions some of them have for the company. They pride themselves on being a proven company, no health industry mumbo-jumbo here. Salary is good. They have a medical stipend but no other benefits. Very relaxed atmosphere most of the time.

There are serious structure/processes problems. Things that should take short amount of time to get approval for need to go through too many people. I was hired as a Marketing coordinator but my job turns out to be 90% data entry, which i hate and am not good at. I don't think the intention was to deceive more that they really didn't know what they needed/wanted. the person who trained me was the only person who was honest and said there was a lot of admin but i expected 60-80% max. Most of the actual marketing work that i have done, like planning events, has had task split between myself and my canadian counter part. There are serious communication issues between the US and the canadian branch. Communication doesn't flow as quickly as it should often taking days to get approval to print the smallest thing. Also many things are often put off until the last minute and that is the attitude/style there which in my opinion just doesn't work if you want to be a heavy hitter. There is also the unspoken opinion that they just want a person sitting in a chair. I have extremely good equipment at home and would prefer more flexible hours so I have offered several times to use my own (much better) equipment but it has been met with no enthusiasm to say the least. Not a very forward moving company if you care about that.

You get paid for working.

- Lack of leaders, but an overflow of management - Non-existent on boarding process - Siloing perpetuated by management - Unprofessional gossip and put downs of other team members and management on calls partaken by management and other employees - Jaded and cliquey employees, hanging on to see if the company can get it together - Fellow employees constantly complaining about expense reimbursement difficulties, lack of support and transparency with goals and numbers, coupled with a lack of tools - Disorganized and disconnected with communication, concrete numbers, and allocation for employees - Timely communication needs to be improved among all channels, ignoring fellow team members and impeding on their ability to perform is not an acceptable work environment of way of conduct - Ostracized by team and management (boss told me I was being excluded from meetings for months), you will need counselling after working here - Many employees have supplemental jobs to pay their bills and check out early which makes it hard for their to be a joint team effort - Management lacks ability to coach and support constructively
