Incompetent management, racist supervisors, and a toxic work environment are the main themes at this company. If you are looking for advancement, career knowledge, and to make a decent living this company is not for you. In my short time working at BioGX I faced discrimination based on my race from a supervisor who wasn't qualified for their position and ultimately was let go due to filing a complaint. Many of my fellow coworkers were fired due to retaliation after reporting to HR about racist behavior and the bullying they faced. It's very sad that this was allowed to go on since the two CEO's are both POC and they wouldn't take something as serious as racism in the workplace more seriously. The human resource office is a joke. Anything that you tell them regarding your concerns with your work environment will quickly be spread throughout the company and ultimately will make its way back to the individual you complained about. Human resources hasn't taken any action about complaints regarding sexual harassment, racial discrimination, or bullying. Overall this company is horrible and to make it worse they don't pay enough to be working in such a stressful and toxic environment. If you have any other option of employment please go with the other option. You have been warned.
