Biomedical Forensic is a great place to work. You are constantly challenging your mind and learning every day. You get the opportunity to get hands-on experience and do field experiments. If you are looking for a place where you can really make a difference, Biomedical Forensics is the place for you! The boss is very understanding, patient, and truly wants to promote her employees growth in the company. She has been in the business for a long time which allows her to be an excellent mentor. The company is located in a great area, close to San Fransisco, but you don’t have to deal with the hectic city traffic and parking. Overall, it’s a great company, great learning opportunities, and you are doing work that will truly make a difference.

The work is fast-paced. Which could be a con for someone that likes a slow-pace environment. But, I personally love the pace. It keeps you busy during the day and gives you more opportunities to grow educationally and professionally.

Where do I begin with this place...all I can say is your boss (AKA the person who wrote the one positive review on this site) is one of the most demeaning, insensitive, and cruel people I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. You are expected to immediately understand the absolute mess of the internal documentation system and be at the beck & call for random tasks that have nothing to do with the apparent job. For example...I once had to schedule a mammogram appointment for my boss. Are you kidding me? This business is an example of a disturbing influx of funds where so called "experts" (aka someone with a bush league PhD for solving an undergrad dynamics problem) are paid to testify to a certain vantage point. This is not engineering, this is not science; this is a faction of our IMO skewed and extremely unequitable legal system. Do not work here; just don't. The CEO of this place has zero empathy for anyone and only cares about her own inherited wealth.
