CTO is obsessed with Glassdoor reviews! - Recensione dipendente - Dipendente anonimo presso Biological Dynamics

The CTO is totally obsessed with these really bad Glassdoor reviews that tell the truth about what it's like to work here. He HAS to respond to them. He has even recently ordered a few of us to write positive reviews to balance out the bad ones. The CTO micromanages all the science and engineering. But he clearly doesn't know what he's doing. But you have to agree with him or your job is under threat. Everyone knows this so you end up with everyone who never disagrees getting promotions and the ones who challenge his dumb ideas laid off or demoted. The CTO is a bully who abuses his position to mask his insecurities. In the last two MONTHS alone one person has been laid off, one has been fired, and three people have quit. There's only twenty-something people at this company! The management claim this is due to the startup environment but the company is over 8 years old! It's not a start up any more! People leave this company so often because of the CTO. I'm just praying any new investors install their own executive team to take over from this mess.
