Bad "management" they promote and hire people with 0 experience in management put them on a day course and then call them managers, One so called manager in particular has a very peculiar relationship with the manager of the energy division so worked her way to management that way, unprofessional company, bad structure, will target you to prove "management" a company full of bully's, will work you into the ground and will never be available for support. Was told they don't hire for skill in administration just if you get on with the "female manager" Avoid avoid avoid!

Flexible working approach within company which is modern and attractive. Company appears to be type of company which will foster good foundations for life long careers but actually most employees whom have been hired for long periods of time are family members and they are very overworked so unable to pass on work or able to delegate responbsilities down the chain.

Lack of commitment to working hours from managers, regularly expect out of working hours work to be completed. I worked for this company for 6 months and although I stressed to HR twice I had virtually no work to get on with, they expressed they had no concerns. I never completed the induction folder I was given due to the fact my line manager didnt work consistent hours and / or did not have enough time to 'induct' me into my role. I requested specific hours within the hiring process due to commitments within degree training outside of working hours, not many people worked during normal hours within the business so it meant I was often left with little to no work to undertake. Poor management. Lack of support for workers. Whenever I would attempt to undertake a task given to me, it was often taken from me because it was easier for managers to complete the tasks rather than teach what needed to be done how they liked. In the time I worked with Birdsall I was begging for work to undertake and often left bored and disengaged from company. Working from home set up was amazing and supportive aside from the fact they were unable to provide actual work to undertake. Average pay not on high end for well established company. Low holiday allowance also comparatively to modern companies. I suspect the fact that upper management are all related and old that they are very out of touch of modern companies and ways of working.
