Resources are scarce so not having a sales engineer available to work with you can delay your providing quotes to the customer - which in some cases will make you miss out on business because you're too slow. Commission pay-out depends on install which you don't control and projects can be months before completion. Commission is calculated based on margin, not gross sale. Your only opportunity to negotiate with the customer is to kill your margin.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your review. The good news is that we are growing, even through a pandemic year. With that comes a need to hire and we are aggressively looking for top talent, importantly in sales engineering, to support our growing business. Our team members are definitely our most important assets, without them we would not have an organization to support our customers and their business needs. We continually look at our commission plans to ensure they are competitive and that they are incentivizing our Sales team. Thanks again for your feedback and I wish you the best.

There genuinely are a lot of great people working here but they are often lower level employees. Great work-life balance and flexibility (for the most part..) Solid benefits package(health insurance, PTO, etc)

Communication with management is very poor. They hardly consider the opinions of the “worker bees.” Compensation and incentives slowly eroded while you continue to take on more work. “Feathers in your cap” does not count as compensation. Very little, if any, commission. Far too aggressive targets for the resources available. Extreme offshoring of existing positions leading to everyone feeling like they have a gun pointed to their head. Executives hardly have any idea what their organization even looks like on a day to day basis. “Visionary” executives don’t cut it. Most importantly: non-existent path for career development and growth. Taken advantage of, especially in this role. Major conflicts of interests with AM’s and management surrounding growing out of the SSE position.
