Awful and unprofessional environment - Recensione dipendente - Account Manager presso Black PR

I can’t name one finish at 5 on a Friday maybe

I was very young when I joined this company and was warned not to take the position however I did, I don’t regret taking the position as it unfortunately threw me into the toxic side of the fashion industry which did enable me to get thicker skin. However, it really knocked my confidence and I felt awful being there everyday. I will never forget how I was treated here, shouted at infront of other members of staff / clients. The belittling, the bullying, it was a really awful environment I will probably never forget unfortantely

My time at Black PR helped me to progress and learn, I handled some interesting accounts who were all lovely, worked with a great team of girls in the office, got to manage shows and events during London Fashion Week and press days, I made a lot of great industry connections and grew in my confidence. There was a great bonus scheme based on your performance at London Fashion Week which was very helpful as it can be hard work. After almost 2 years working there, I felt listened to and that my feedback about issues was taken onboard, it wasn't always the case and there were some difficult times but overall I look back on my experience in a positive light. It was the best job I've had in terms of my progression and I enjoyed my role and got on well with my colleagues, we had wellness vouchers and team building days out and overall it was a fun environment.

At the beginning of my time, I did find some issues with communication with the directors and some previous team members had more of a toxic attitude in the office, sometimes the environment was uncomfortable. But the team I spent the majority of time with were great and supportive.
