      BlackRock as a whole is an excellent company with great culture. I would happily work in any other department of BlackRock - senior people are approachable, projects actually get finished and are very interesting, and salary and benefits are great.

      Working as an ACS analyst was the worst experience of my life; the job was completely mis-sold as a technical consultancy, whereas in fact it is a call centre. Tickets and phone calls are all you will do in ACS, and management actively micro-manage every client email you send, and then rank you against your peers to try and promote competition. The culture is toxic, the work hours long and as a result people turn on each other frequently. DO NOT WORK IN ACS IF YOU HAVE ANY SELF RESPECT.

      Too much politics in the team. Nobody stays for more than 2 years. Also they like you as long as you do their job. The moment you ask for a raise or a change they immediately intentionally make your life difficult
