Vantaggi
Open culture, lots of communication from senior (C-suite) management. Very tech forward.
Svantaggi
Poor communication between departments/teams. Micromanagement is rife, with rude managers not being addressed (I've received and witnessed shouting matches, on the office floor). Promotion structure is too rigid - there is one promotion cycle per year, that is company wide, and takes 6 months. Ready for a promotion? Too bad, there are two people in a vaguely similar job in another country that are also ready, so you've got to wait another 18 months. Pay is non-competitive. I was denied a raise after 12 months (during an annual pay review) because I was "too new" to the firm. Despite having to fill out a full review rather than the simplified version for new joiners. And when I handed in my resignation, there were lots of "is there anything we can do to keep you?". Finally, lack of trust from leadership, despite openness. Lots of praise on remote working during COVID, and now they're pushing for 4 days in the office because apparently we can't work from home. Days off, sick days etc all count as working from home, so if you take a long weekend, the rest of your time is in the office.
