I've been at Square for 15 months, and it's the most impactful role I've ever had. The company has a mission that's energizing and makes me want to come in to work every day. Our customers love our products and service, and we have a NPS score that's unreal. The culture is one of extreme transparency, which is amazing. Commerce, the space we play in, is massive and we have an opportunity to be the leader here.

Employees are very smart but also very young (for many, it's their first job) and so they tend to take media report of Square too seriously. I wish I could get on a bullhorn and tell them that media doesn't matter. What matters is the value you are creating for customers and stakeholders. So let's just focus on that and not get distracted by the constant chatter outside.
