Leadership within the company and the talent team itself is nonexistent. There is no one to step up and make decisions, our team is full of mediocre managers that all seem to be trying to steer the ship in opposite directions but with no intention or strategy. As recruiters our jobs are completely thankless and we are at the mercy of the SIP Lead is who is known to be a complete tyrant and a nightmare to deal with. She treats us all of though we’re disposable and none of the work we do matters. Team members are dropping like flies because she is so insufferable. And you can’t just leave the SIP team and go to the other ones like Block or Cash either because they all have lame duck leaders who seem to have no clue how to lead any of us through this high growth stage. Turnover across the company is at a record high for good reason and Talent is no exception.
In addition our executives recently lied to us and said they would start adding more cash compensation to make up for our flailing stock but that did not happen, all of our pay increases were not only minimal but all equity which is good for nothing when you can’t pay your bills.
Avoid this company and the talent team at all costs. It is an absolute train wreck. Until all the old guards are out and new leadership with REAL experience steps in this will continue to be a vicious cycle.
