I appreciate you sharing this feedback, even if it’s tough to read. Anytime someone leaves Blue Orange feeling undervalued, that reflects on me as CEO. I take this seriously.
I guess it came accross as the me thinking "I’m the smartest person in the room.” In reality, I’m often more humbled working alongside so many talented people. I certainly aim to share my vision for the company, but if it comes across differently, then I’ve failed to communicate it the right way. My approach has always been to surround myself with experts and learn from them, and I need to make that clearer.
What matters most to me is building an environment where people feel respected, supported, and able to grow. Of course I can miss things, but I really think this perspective skews far from how our team actually sees it. We don’t get everything right, but I remain committed to listening, improving, and making Blue Orange a place where people are proud to work. I also encourage anyone to talk with our team and me to see for themselves.
