Good coworkers, Central location in Kansas City

Very busy, lots of last minute add on surgeries. Communication with clinic is not very good. Building is in a bad location

Closed on weekends Closed on holidays No overnight shifts

It’s not a very diverse group who work here. A lot of people are treated very different in my opinion. Even in critical family matters they pick and choose which employees to help. There is constant division and lack of teamwork because of some employees who have favoritism. There is tons unprofessional behavior in the OR. Certain techs (and other staff) get away with it because they are favored. This is unfair and everyone should be held accountable are my thoughts. Lots of new and very inexperienced staff make it unsafe at times I felt and partly why I quit.
