Where do I start? If you enjoy being physically threatened, micro-managed, talked to and treated like a small child: apply today. If you are looking for a career, a professional environment where you have a true sales role, this is not the place for you! The training program is taught by a past kindergarten teacher that has never sold, doesn’t understand the equipment and has no desire to adjust the sails to the trending technology, but instead drinks the tainted kool-aid stirred by the biggest narcissist you could ever work for. The company was founded in 1985 and they still operate as if it were 1985. Management is lacking skills, professionalism and structure. You will be left to fend on your own and expected to succeed and when you don’t, be ready to get threatened or fired on the spot, intimidated and expected to go to meetings and trainings that bring NO value. Waste.Of.Time!

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. Outside sales is a position that requires self-discipline to work independently and drum up business. Our industry is one that is highly competitive; one where prospects make decisions based on reducing costs and where being in the right place at the right time in a customers’ contract is vital. It takes an aggressive individual to manage through the obstacles necessary, and they are handsomely rewarded but, it is not for everyone. Our management team proactively works to partner with our sales teams and assist them in securing business. While it did not work for this former employee, many have found great success within our company, as well as, took what they learned and found success beyond Blue Technologies. Best of luck to all!

The colleagues and team members at Blue Technologies are genuinely talented, hardworking, and collaborative. The people I worked alongside daily made the job worthwhile and were the primary reason I stayed as long as I did. There is a solid foundation of institutional knowledge among the staff, and the core copier business does provide some stability.

Leadership operates with a deeply entrenched, top-down mentality rooted in an outdated sales culture. Nepotism is prevalent at the executive level, which undermines meritocracy and morale across the organization. Compensation is below market rate with no meaningful bonus structure in place. The company has made a push into software and professional services but has fundamentally failed to understand that selling software requires an entirely different skill set, methodology, and sales culture than selling hardware. Sales staff are hired and managed as if they are selling copiers, and the results reflect that. Leadership's resistance to evolving beyond their comfort zone has created a ceiling on what this company can realistically achieve in its expansion efforts.
