Vantaggi
Like any organization, you’ll find good, decent people here. Coworkers are often supportive and willing to commiserate through the struggles.
Svantaggi
1. Leadership à la bombe à retardement One founder is basically a ticking time bomb, unpredictable, volatile, and guaranteed to go off. Defusing attempts are futile; think less “Parisian elegance,” more “Marseille Plague of 1720.” 2. Cultural camouflage Dysfunction is brushed off as cultural nuance. But let’s be honest: if this leadership style were transplanted to Iceland, Tasmania, or Toulouse, the locals would all agree…. it’s simply bad. 3. The cult of “moi” Strategy often boils down to: “if everyone thought and acted exactly like me, success would follow.” Spoiler: this is less Michelin-star cuisine and more reheated leftover cassoulet. 4. Counterproductive by design Decisions derail productivity faster than a TGV strike. Scaling into a legitimate SaaS company is about as likely as ordering steak tartare in a vegan café. 5. Turnover with a side of baguette-spinning The revolving door spins faster than a Parisian café waiter on Bastille Day. Yes, you’ll find “supporters” strategically placed in the org, but it feels less like loyalty and more like paycheck-to-paycheck survival. Do your due diligence: connect with someone currently inside or from the many already long gone to understand what your getting into.
