Terrible leadership - Recensione dipendente - Consultant presso Boffa Miskell

If you are new to the industry, you will get given greater responsibility than at other companies, which can help jumpstart your career. After about 2 years maybe look at transfering to a consultant company that remunerates better.

Pay is somewhat low, overtime is not compensated well, and I found the relationship between management and employees to be a bit manipulative. Projects were also underresourced which could lead to overwork and a bit of stress. I did not enjoy it and left quickly, but for others at the company it seemed to work well.

Love my team here. Intelligent, kind ethical people all round. Also some nice extra perks such as health insurance, drinks and pizza every friday and a couple of lovely events. bringing in some good initiatives around Te Reo and Sustainability etc as time goes on

More the nature of the job but work life is pretty all over the show. Minimal heads up before going away, sometimes working crazy long days and high stress environment. Endless hamster wheel of things to do without much chance to reflect on any achievements. Social culture seemed vibrant when I first joined but is now borderline non-existent.
