The work can be interesting and there is a lot of direct client involvement, however much of your experience within the role will depend on your contract, your government leads, and fellow staff. The company does make their benefits clear and tries to provide many different training opportunities. Dental and Vision are pretty decent

I find that the benefits are increasingly underwhelming to the point where I question why I have them - mainly medical. You would think that Booz Allen could do better than HSA's but I guess not. The insurance is better if you live or have doctors in Virginia, if you commute from Maryland the insurance effectively tacks on an extra 10% cost which is punitive if they mean it to be or not, My salary is the lowest of anyone I work with, but I am often overtasked with little support or coverage, this is likely a contract specific issue, but I find my salary increases (3% - the avg) do not match my output expectations, and they do not keep up with increases in life otherwise. I find the helpdesk and numerous sharepoint guides the company offers to be burdensome and difficult to navigate often advice or policy requires you read some article rather than talk to a person, or watch some workday training, however, half the articles on the SharePoint are broken. Calling the helpdesk tasks forever and I've had non-IT tickets spooling in review for weeks before someone reaches out.
