Design Culture was strong when I was there. Our opinions were respected and we were an active partner in product design and development. Research was in the company tagline so we justified a lot of it. Dr Bose was missed dearly by the Fellow Engineers but laid the foundation for amazing produxct R&D The Bose employee Prototype Facilities that were available for free to use were second to none I've seen in the tech industry. #spoiled you could build anything in your spare time there.

It was be challenging to move new innovations in, unless other companies have already proven it in the same market. Not enough designers to cover all the products. It might be better there lately as Sr level staff have transitioned.
