Vantaggi
-Great company benefits (% off on product) -Products we sell are amazing -There are some great/smart people who work there -Compensation was decent (not amazing), but good bonus system
Svantaggi
-Current Marketing VP for DTC is not data-driven, makes decisions based on her feelings that day (and is unkind to almost everyone there). Environment is super toxic. I would only tell my enemies to work for that org in it's current state. -Really trying to force in-office culture again but it's located in Framingham MA and the office just can't compete with other tech companies (very outdated) -Marketing org lacks direction and focus -Don't promote from within, hiring a lot externally (and are hiring people who do not have the experience) -Other orgs there seem a lot healthier than DTC Marketing (Automotive for example) -Company does not care about you at all (CMO literally said "we owe you nothing" after letting go our European offices). -They also don't encourage team building/give budget for it, which is kind of crazy given the company size. They have a point system to award peers for great work and the VP actually made me give LESS points to someone who has worked there for 15+ years (it was like a $25 difference in award...). Point is, they are super out of touch and don't even encourage positive reinforcement for people working insane hours. -Holiday season at this company is a MESS -Really inconsistent messaging around in-office. I was hired with the agreement to do 1 day in office, then they tried to go back on it a year later and I straight up said no. I think they thought I'd back down, but I don't think they could fire me for it so they eventually had to drop the subject. But extremely stressful to not know what was going to happen with my job (my commute was upwards of 2 hours each way...).
