The mission. Most of the people, particularly in production and our rehab services. Pay is higher than most non profits. Good benefits, beyond healthcare. Most supervisors are supportive and understanding when personal needs arise.

Changes in upper management over the last couple years has caused a change in the atmosphere in most areas of the company. The mission is very seldom mentioned now. Newer managers are secretive and condescending, most notably to production employees or those who are blind. Very little opportunity for advancement. Too many internal procedures in place to get something as simple as business cards printed. The company was heavily into diversifying when I came on board but every new business line has been closed, leaving us vulnerable if something happens to our main product line. Several employees and consultants involved in business development but no new lines or products have been started from this.
