Middle management and above appear nice and friendly but don’t seem to want to address what’s wrong, oftentimes it just seems like senior management want to play good cop instead of addressing issues head on - cost cutting reasons, that the company’s stock share is dropping and why, that head counts are being shifted to countries which are cheaper and letting people go quietly. Instead, every town hall seems to just be a way to proclaim how well the company is doing when there seem to be cracks within the org. Some middle managers could be “fat” within the org, and seem to be more concerned with saving their own jobs and finding any work to do to remain “useful” but are horrible supervisors and managers.
