Admissions is getting more selective over the years, as a result the student population is brighter and more capable which leads to a better classroom experience. The alumni have been increasingly more interested in staying connected.

The administration, particularly the assistant deans are obsessed with cost containment and research. They do not seem to care much about the student experience or non research faculty.
