This is a genuinely supportive and rewarding place to work especially within the legal profession where that isn’t always expected. Leadership I have met so far appear engaged, empathetic and approachable. From day one, I’ve felt trusted and valued. The partner in my team leads with humour, humility and a deep understanding of both the work and the human side of law. HR take a proactive and inclusive approach to disability offering regular check-ins and genuinely listening to what staff need. The firm culture is another standout. It’s collaborative, warm and built on mutual respect. I’ve had opportunities to take on responsibility early, get involved in billing and compliance work and even lead on certain internal projects. There’s real room to grow and clear signals that career development is encouraged.

Some internal systems and processes feel a bit outdated or manual which can make daily tasks less efficient than they could be. There is definitely room for improvement when it comes to technology and streamlining workflows, especially for a firm operating at this level.

Comfortable environment, good office location and respectful employees

Not good for progression unless you are a middle aged white man, not transparent in terms of wages and the pay is low in comparison to like roles.
