I have never seen someone fired without extremely good reasons, and multiple opportunities to correct their mistakes. I once yelled at one of the owners about a project management issue we were having and they allowed me to cool down and talk about the issue the next day. This is a level of understanding and security I have not found anywhere else. Contract to hire is done professionally and responsibly, After 2 years of working as a contractor I switched to W2. Owners are extremely professional and at the same time friendly. They always listen to what you have to say and make themselves available to hear your concerns.

The company culture appears unprofessional and disorganized at first glance. Which can cause whiplash for some who are coming from extremely corporate environments. Unfortunately sometimes new people mistake the culture for laziness and adopt that trait themselves. At first it was hard to deal with all the freedom afforded to me. I had to learn to manage my own time and to complete goals by the deadline I was given. Don't try to work at Brain Bytes if you are not a "self starter"
